Heartsaver CPR:
Audience:
For those who have a duty to respond to a
cardiac emergency because of job responsibilities or regulatory
requirements.
Description:
The Heartsaver CPR Course teaches CPR and relief of
choking in adults and children, and infant CPR and relief of choking, and
use of barrier devices for all ages.
Core Elements:
Adult/child CPR with choking
Infant CPR and choking optional
Course Length:
2 3 hours (full course)
Heartsaver CPR with AED:
Audience:
For those who have a duty to respond to a
cardiac emergency because of job responsibilities or regulatory
requirements.
Description:
The Heartsaver AED Course teaches CPR, AED use,
relief of choking in adults and children, and infant CPR and relief of
choking, and use of barrier devices for all ages.

Adult/child CPR with Mask and choking
Adult/Child AED
Infant CPR with mask and choking optional

2.5 3.5 hours (full course)
Heartsaver First Aid Adult:
Audience
For those who have a duty
to respond to a cardiac emergency because of job responsibilities or
regulatory requirements.
Description:
The Heartsaver First Aid Course teaches how
to manage illness and injuries in the first few minutes until
professional help arrives. Course content includes General Principals,
Medical Emergencies and Injury Emergencies. Optional Topics include CPR
and AED, and Environmental Emergencies.
Core Elements:
Adult First Aid
Optional: Environmental
Emergencies, Adult/Child CPR With Mask, Adult/Child AED, Infant CPR with
Mask.
Course Length:
3.5 hours (first Aid Only)
6.5 7.5 hours (with CPR)
Heartsaver Pediatric First Aid:
Audience
For those who are involved
in child care who have a duty to respond to a first aid emergency
because of job responsibilities or regulatory requirements such as child
care workers, teachers, foster care workers, camp counselors, youth
organizations, and coaches for childrens sports organizations.
Description:
The Heartsaver First Aid Course teaches how to manage illness and injuries in a child in the first few minutes until professional help arrives. Course content includes First Aid basics, Medical Emergencies and Injury Emergencies, Environmental Emergencies. Optional First Aid Topics and CPR and AED.
